Welcome to the Chamois website.

The Chamois Mountaineering Club is a nationwide club of about 200+ members. We have an annual programme of meets, mostly at weekends, mostly in the UK, approximately twice monthly throughout the year.

We run our own hostel, the Chamois Mountaineering Centre, in Snowdonia, available for use by club members at all times and also for outside bookings.

	Chamois Mountaineering Centre The Chamois Mountaineering Centre is situated near Llanberis in North Wales and is available for group bookings. This page gives more information about the CMC and also how to make an enquiry or booking.
	Members' Area This is a password-protected members-only area. It gives access to a number of facilities, including club newsletters, the club noticeboard and information on bookings for club meets and the CMC.
	Meets Programme This gives access to the current meets programme, reports on past meets and details of forthcoming meets

This website recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
