Explanation: This picture was taken on 26th June 1999 during the end of month Hut meet, and shows some club members on the second pitch of "Main Wall"(400ft, Hard Severe) on Cwm Glas, in Llanberis Pass. The fore of the picture shows Bob Butcher belaying from the 'pulpit'. From here, the rock rises in a curve upwards to where Linda Harpin is. Further up the climb we moved round a very exposed corner and deviated slightly from the guide book route (we found out afterwards). All that was then left was the final slab which has good firm holds, and is excellent rock.
After completing the climb, we scrambled up the "Parson's Nose" and then continued towards Crib Gogh.
