Explanation: On the summit of Cima Brenta, the second highest summit of the Brenta Gruppe, in the Italian Dolomites. The final part of the ascent was quite serious, especially a short, narrow, very loose, rock ridge near the summit, with steep ice couloirs dropping away on both sides. The visitors book at the top indicated that not very many people bother with the summit, compared with the large numbers on the main Via Ferrata traverse.
