Basteir Tooth
Basteir Tooth
Photo: Nick Jeffery

Explanation: On Spring Bank Holiday Tuesday (Skye, 1999), Alan Stewart completed his last Munro Top when a group of 7 of us ascended the Basteir Tooth (Am Basteir means "The Executioner") via Naithsmiths Route. This photo shows Alan part way up the route, with Chris belaying at the top. [For those of you who have bagged all the Munros, why not take up virtual Munro bagging!]
