Explanation: The Aiguille Dibona (3130m), is the most conspicuous granite spike in the Ecrins range and was first climbed in 1913 by Angelo Dibona and Guido Mayer. The south face is 350m high and it hosts a good number of excellent climbs on superb rock. The Soreiller refuge (2730m) sits at the bottom of the southern face.This picture shows Colin Lowe reaching the summit of the Aiguille Dibona.
