Explanation: The Barranco del Infierno (Hell's Canyon) near Calpe in Spain is a deep limestone gorge, about 1Km long and involving a succession of about 12 abseils & rope traverses. It was undertaken by 2 separate Chamois groups during last November's extended Spanish climbing meet. This picture shows Eddie on the crux move, a strenuous rope traverse across an overhanging wall above a deep rock pool.
