The Aims of the Club, as laid down in the Constitution are to:

CHAmois SearchDo you want to find something on the site but don't know where to look? Try our very own site search engine. You can also do custom searches through the meet write-ups or pictures of the month. The CHAmois Mountaineering Club was founded in 1964 by members of the Countrywide Holidays Association, as a nationally (UK) based mountaineering club. Although its membership of over 200 is widely dispersed, most members live in the northern industrial areas around Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds. It is a member club of the British Mountaineering Council and is affiliated to the Rambler's Association. The CHAmois Mountaineering Club covers all ages and both genders, and is organised and run on a fully democratic basis. |
