Godfrey has agreed to coordinate this walk on the morning of the AGM
On a good day there are outstanding views of Kinder Scout, Edale, Castleton and the remains of Peveril Castle … so let’s hope the weather is kind that day.
The walk will start from Lose Hill Hall at 10am with the intention of getting back by 3pm
Walk from Hollins Cross to Mam Tor summit making the walk 8 miles.
If the group is too fast the walk can be extended to Edale adding an extra 2 miles.
Losehill Hall - Losehill farm – Lose Hill (Ward’s Piece) – Back Tor - Hollins cross - (Edale if time permits) - Mam Tor - Oxlow House - Limestone way- Cave Dale - Castleton - Losehill Hall
Those looking for a shorter walk can do variations of this route and perhaps meet at one of the high points.
